A God who does not give the world the “silent treatment” after they messed up. A God who shows us that He is a God who does “a new thing” (Isaiah 43:19). A God who fills redemptive history with multiple pictures of new creation (Noah, Redeemed Israel out of Egypt, and Re-Redeemed Israel out of exile). Ultimately, a God who has made us new and is making us new in Christ Jesus! “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new!” (1 Corinthians 5:17)
