Jesus is our representative before God. He is the One who offers the sacrifice for sin. He is compassionate and gentle on the ignorant and those going astray. He has been appointed by God as our high priest for all eternity. The suffering, anguish, and pain that he experienced was at a level of intensity that none of us will ever experience. That means we can go to him for anything. God wants us to grow up and dive deep into the truths of Jesus Christ. He wants us to hunger for the meat of Christ and be skilled in the word of righteousness. Feast with us this morning as we unveil our Jesus Christ as our Great High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek today from Hebrews chapter five.
