Last week we ended our journey through the Davidic Covenant by looking at the last of the four major prophets—Daniel. While Daniel was the only one to not mention David directly, he was the most explicit about the GLORY and TIMETABLE of David’s coming kingdom. And he was helped in his understanding of the ‘when’ and ‘what’ of this kingdom by an angel … Gabriel. Gabriel of course would appear on the scene again!
