A prominent refrain in many of the stories of healing in the Gospels and Acts is “your faith has made you whole.” Also, we are told that Christ could do no mighty work in Nazareth because of their unbelief (Mark 6:5-6). Paul reminds the Galatians that God works miracles among them not because they are obedient to the law, but rather by “the hearing of faith” (Gal. 3:5). What is our faith in? The fact that Christ is not just our Sin Bearer, but also our Sickness Bearer! (Is. 53:4-6; Matt. 8:16-17) Our duty is to get our eyes fixed on Him. To walk by faith and not by sight. Jesus is the author and perfecter of our faith (Heb. 12:2). Through Him, all things are possible! (Mark 9:23)
