Last week we discovered that the Word is God’s Medicine. One thing we see as we read God’s Word is that it is not against natural means which help a body’s healing process. While some have pitted doctors and medicine against the Scripture, they have been misguided. When we understand sickness and disease as part of the Fall, and as afflictions of the Enemy, then we should see any God designed natural remedies, and all God given wisdom to medical professionals, as agents that are co-laboring with God for our good. Join us as we dig into the Scriptures and discern what the Lord wants to teach us about how to take care of our bodies and how to view those called into the vocation of a physician in light of the fact that the Lord is our Healer.
